FAMILY ENGAGEMENT
Southern Hills Elementary believes that family engagement is an important aspect in students' academic success. Meaningful family engagement leads to improved grades, higher test scores, lower drop-out rates, increased student confidence and a stronger sense of the value of education. At Southern Hills, we are committed to supporting our students and families to create meaningful partnerships that ensure student success at all levels – district, school, and grade level.

Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteering with OKCPS and at Southern Hills is a great way to give back to the community and have fun. Whether you want to mentor a student, help teachers in their classrooms, support school events, or even spend a day volunteering with your work colleagues to beautify school grounds, we have something for everyone.
